yeah they are, so they can pay for coffin dodgers like Brucie and terry wogan, lets all protest so we can get rid of this tax.
they only reason they are still allowed to charge, is because we allow them to get away with it, if we all set a date for a national pros test, they could not ignore us all!
I'm ready when u are!!!!

The licence fee is a tax to fund the last bastion against Murdock.
That said, the excessive PC input to the BBC certainly does not make it my first choice for viewing.
While the BBC produces some excellent programmes, it frequently misses the opportunity to set standards and due to its limited accountability is able to produce biased output that reflects the personal views of its executives.
Maybe it is time for 'Aunties' trip to the cemetery.

I know. I have no idea how they still get away with it. I know of absolutely no-one who agrees with the licence fee, it may have been appropriate when TV started but things have moved on since then! It is a clear contravention of civil liberties...

In Germany the TV is absolute rubbish. Those stupid quiz 'phone in programmes that are shown at 3 in the morning in the UK are primetime here and we pay more for a license! You don't know how good you've got it.
