Ok, Do I have to Go to Premed School and then To psychiatry School?

4 year bachelors degree, 4 years med school, year intern, 2-3 years residency in psychiatry.

Yes, you have to do pre med, and internship to become an MD, then you do your specialty in psychiatry.

It takes alot of schooling, because shrinks are Docs who can prescribe medicine.
