I would be willing to give it a shot. What kind of advice does a gay boy need?

Always use sunscreen. Treasure your hags and other straight friends. If he says it's love on the third date, chances are it's not. Other gay men give the best haircuts. Get tested regularly. Look your best at least twice a week for no special reason. Eat right and get plenty of exercise. If you have good parents, let them know every once in a while how grateful you are. Only attend a church that radiates love and acceptance. Never vote republican. Nair is bad juju. Insist on using a condom. Take good care of your teeth. Anyone can benefit from therapy. Cats are nice, but dogs are awesome. Aspire to be the world's most awesome uncle. Giving hugs is the best way to receive hugs. Check your tires often. You're only young once, but never too old learn something new.

I am personally straight. My older sister is gay. Be proud of who you are. You are a beautiful person.
I agree with a previous answer, come out to your parents as soon as you can if you haven't already.
So many of the people in my world are gay and it's not significant - they are just great people. Whether they are gay or not is only significant to their lover.

Yes, but you have to ask a question first...
Even though many people advise you to come out as quickly as possible, only *you* can decide when it is right. I came out early, at 15, and everything went well--but this is not the case for everyone, sometimes it helps to come out to one or two good friends first so you can start building a support system. If you're already out then I would say work hard and make your dreams come true, try to avoid the club kid/poppers culture.

Be prepared and be strong for you are in for the biggest fight of your life. Even if the world today is more open to homosexuality, there will always be moralists, homophobes and the self-righteous who will get in the way of your success, happiness and fulfillment. Always bear in mind that you are a person first and deserves equal human rights. Your sexuality only comes in second to that.

Yes, here's some advice:

Dont be ashamed of who you are. Live your life out loud. And if anyone gets in your way, ask them to stick it, because youa are as normal as any Dick, Tom or Harry.
