Yet another B.S. question. This is probably posted by a 14 year old boy who just discovered Rosie Palm and her five sisters.

Some serious ground rules need to be set up. You need to sit down and have a little chat with him about what is going on. It might be a little late to actually address the masturbating issue, so focus on the disrespect he shows to you. If you don't feel comfortable talking to him, a close male in his life ought to help you out.

It's normal for teenage boys to masturbate frequently. It is not normal for them to continue doing so when their mothers walk in. Point out to him that it is abnormal (as well as rude) for a boy to continue masturbating in front of his mother. Tell him that he has to clean the mess up.
If this doesn't work, I would suggest that you need to get in touch with a psychologist who deals with teenagers, and get your son to see the psychologist.
Because of the lack of a current male role model, your son may be confused as to what constitutes appropriate male behaviour: but the way your son is flaunting his behaviour makes me concerned that your son may be developing undesirable (as in, a threat to others, perhaps including you) sexual habits.

How old is your son?

Masturbation is normal. But if you think it is going way beyond normal then consult a psychiatrist. He may be suffering from something.
