"Curmudgeon Homo Sapienses":
Habitat: One very common type of habitat has a variety of names - bars, inns, drinking establishments (if it regularly consumes acohol). These are 'migratory' habitats, however - not the 'nest' of a curmudgeon.
"Nests" are often one-person houses, flats or apartments from which husband or wife - and any children old enough to do so - have fled. (The regular alcohol/drug intake is still a usual feature of these habitats.)
Occasionally the curmudgeon's lifestyle is so bad it doesn't even have a building - or at least one a normal person would consider habitable - to live in. The curmudgeon can then be found in a cardboard box, under a bridge or in an alley.
Traits:- Surly, ill-mannered and cantankerous.
A curmudgeon is NOt considered good material for being a husband, wife, father or mother.
They are NOT suitable as pets.
[Yes, I know 'sapienses' isn't a real word - but a 'curmudgeon' isn't an animal in the sense of having a 'habitat'!]

Old, funky, cold and dusty. Nothing new or pleasant. Nothing warm or cheerful. Never cleaned up. Never shared with another person or even a pet. Maybe a cat, to eat the mice... A person's environment reflects their mental and emotional state.
