I am so sorry to hear about this. The same thing happened to me a week before Easter when my mother announced to me that my parents were divorcing, so I know the feeling. What I would do is type a letter to your sister and say it came from Santa. You can find Christmas paper from places like Wal-Mart for pretty cheap. I do hope under the circumstances that you have a Merry Christmas.

I am not sure about the letter but I do know that there is a place you can go online to fill in information and then they have a person acting as Santa Claus call you. I am not sure of the exact website but you could try Santa.com or check on Rachel Rays website since I saw it on her show. Good Luck and stay strong, I know it is hard. Your sister is very lucky to have you though and I will say a prayer for you both!

It is really sad what is happening these days. You are a sensitive and caring brother and I am sure you will find the proper letter for your sister. I prefer, not to search ready-made letters on the Web. If you let your heart speak, let your kindness, thought fullness and caring speak, you will right the most proper letter and I am sure your little sister will understand it thoroughly and be touched. Just write to her that she will never lose Love. She will never lose her father though away from him. I trust you will write the perfect love-Christmas letter and I believe your little sister is lucky for having you brother. Have faith, better Holidays will come. Love to all.

Have her write up a letter to santa and bring it to the post office. I don't know if they still do this, but when I was a kid they would make up personalized santa letters addressed from Santa at the North Pole (zip code: HOHOHO). I loved getting those when I was young.

I've just read what everyone said about your sad problem.. It happened to me before.. Best thing to do is read everyone's answers.. Fine bunch of people out there. Santa is out there.. I don't know where to find him.. Why things happen during this time of the year really sucks..
Keep reading what people say here.. They feel warm.. Do your best..
