yeah that one and "let's not and say we did" these things we don't meant to pass on but say when we are stressed. and then think, "oh my God, I sound just like my mom or dad!"

I say these to kids just to get a groan from them then they turn around and ask me what they mean!!

If one of us kids or somebody would say the word "if" alot, my Dad would reply: " ..and IF a frog had wings he wouldn't bump his ***!"
Another one I recall would be when someone would be complaining about having to 'settle' for something, he would add: "...it's better than a sharp stick in the eye!"

My kids have passed this on to their kids also. {we'll do that..go there tomorrow, next week, next month etc} God willing and the river don't rise.
