I have the driver software and file manager software. I enabled the com ports. When phone is connect through the cable "not connected" icon will appeared.

Check ur USB Driver. I think it is deactivated.
Click the icon (if your using windows) in the lower right part of your PC, beside the digital clock. There is a PC icon, i think 2PCs one in front and other slightly at the back...
Double Click it then Properties then Protocol, then install the USB driver...
If there is no USB driver in the selection, you should have an installer disk

Probably not. Some routers and switches have a feature that automatically senses the type of port it's connected to, but most likely you will have to use a straight through Ethernet cable.
