Sadly when he is caught there will be the do gooders brigade to make sure his human rights are not breech ed and he has the best legal representation you and I could never afford then when convicted he will be sent to a specially built unit with all the mod cons round the clock care social workers, shrinks, medical staff, all queueing up to give support and the relatives of the victims left to fend for themselves

High risk offenders tend to get treated better than the average petty criminal, in terms of been accommodated for and protected.
I remember seeing Myra Hindleys prison cell on TV years ago, it was more like a hotel suit than a cell- all at the cost of the tax payer. I think if we are paying for these people we should have a say in how they are treated- maybe lock them in an empty cell, throw away the key and leave them to rot would be a more suitible option.

The UK prisons are a complete and utter joke.
No wonder there are so many prisoners who re-offend.There is no deterant any more.
Do you not watch the news? they are now going to give the prisoners even more perks now,so life in prison will soon be like an all inclusive holiday.
Bring back the death penalty, it's the only way. We have DNA now so we will be sure that those who deserve to die will die.
An eye for an eye that's the way it should be.

What he's done in just a few days is ghastly! I am surprised that they haven't organized a vigilante group to go after this monster. Prison is too good for him. I heard on the news that there are other deaths that may be attributed to him or them. Best of luck to the law enforcement people in stopping this pervert.

I agree that the serial killer (I'm not sure if its even a man, but for arguments sake...) should not be sitting comfortably watching TV etc., but however, despite how awful his crimes are, it would be hypocritical to go against what the law states his punishment should be. He needs to be punished, but within the law so that justice can happen.

I reckon if he is in jail and doesn't kill himself first he'll get a hard time from the other inmates, just look at Ian Huntley. Those cons have all the time in the world to make plans ...

The killer will be given several 'life sentences' and released back into society after about 4 years to do the same again and the mamby-pamby cretins that sentenced him and then let him out will sit around blaming everyone but themselves for their mistakes and then do the same thing again with someone else the week after.
String the bastard up!

I'm sure his fellow inmates will make him most welcome - but that's assuming there's much left of him by the time he gets there.... - and that's BEFORE he gets arrested ! Ipswich might be a small country town, but there's still plenty of people about in the evenings who might just stumble on him "unwittingly".....

No one lives with his compunction to kill because if it fun or a life changing decision.
Before you sit in judgement yo have to understand that but for the Grace of God it could be you or your brother or your father who has this horrific compunction eating away at his soul.
Of course we want to see people like this suffer in the way their victims and their victim's families have and will suffer.
But would you have a member of your family victimised because they contracted Aids, for example, through no fault of their own?
For certain he needs to be taken out of the general population and incarcerated where he can get help for his affliction and be stopped from acting on it.
But temper your anger and frustration with mercy for the person he was before this all became too unbearable for his soul.
I have/and still do on occasion work with sociopathic children and it kills me inside knowing that I cannot reach in to them and wondering what the future may hold for them and those whose path they may cross.
They didn't ask to be born with this affliction any more than i asked to be born left handed and with blue eyes!
