I do like Ralph Lauren cologne and sunglasses and my wife buys Clinique makeup, but we don't have a long list of flashy goods we have to buy.

The prices are outlandish and unnecessary. I don't mind paying extra for quality, but I detest paying extra because of some "name".

Well I don't really hate it. I think we may even indulge in it, if we know how to keep cool about it. High living is an art and not the compulsive turned frenzied mania it has become for the majority of consumers out there whos motives are keeping up with or doing better than so and so ..Cheers!

I don't understand buying clothes with a designer tag. What's wrong with going to Wal-Mart and buying a generic t shirt? I have observed that a lot of people who can't afford the high end brands are the ones who like the stuff.

If I like it I'll buy it... whether it's a brand name or not. I don't care if it's Chanel or something from Walmart. I'll take them all. :)

I love my Chanel purse I just bought today : D and my Christian Dior mascara that I also just bought today to add to my collection of designer stuff. ahhhh... chanel, dior, armani oh my! mmmm love my louis vuittons as well.. not to mention my prada and anne klein and vera bradley. I'm a designer whore and it makes me HAPPY
