Not much, and I'd rather have spent it in getting rid of your questions. By all means hate Christmas but why try and ruin things for other people?

It's stupid when people moan about how expensive it all is. I'm sorry, did someone put a gun to your head and FORCE you to buy those expensive things? If you've spent too much you've only got yourself to blame.

It's nice to know you think that buying gifts for your loved ones is a waste, too. I for one derive great pleasure from making my friends and family happy and no, I do not spend a fortune. They're happy just to be thought of, as would anyone. Nobody asks me how much I spent.

I've wasted $0 on Christmas this year. I have on the other hand spent about $500. its not a waste of money at all. its a day where my husband and I get the things we've wanted most of the year but just didnt get to buy it. If I wanted to do something else with my money then I would have. There is no rule that you have to buy anything for Christmas. I do it because I want to. You should really listen to some Chrismtas music, decorate a tree and get in the spirit.

I haven't wasted any--and can't think of anything I'd rather do than make this years Christmas wonderful!! Last year was horrible after my brother died (2 weeks before), his favorite holiday was Christmas,so this year we're celebrating full tilt!! Lights, tinsel, cookies, you name it--it's happening!!! And so as not to make you think the family is totally foolish--we have already given to all the local charities substantially in his name.

I haven't wasted a dime. I give gifts to people because I love them and I really enjoy it. If I can't afford it, I don't buy it, I just do my best and make allot of stuff.

Gift giving is one of the five love languages.
Your attitude speaks for itself.

Merry Christmas!

Bringing a smile on people's face is not a waste; if you can do that by getting people something that would make them happy, what you spend is no waste;)

I dont really like Christmas. I don't like what everyone has done to it. It's just the time of year where people won't feel guilty with their over-spending and self-gratifying parties.
