I all depends on if you want to repeat the same class. Your grade will drop a whole lot sacrifice sleep trust me it is not worth it you want to keep a good gpa.

I agree with the first answerer: turn in what you can, so you'll at least get some points instead of 0. Also your midterms grade will depend on the other midterms you've taken, so it's hard to say what the effect on your final grade would be.
It also depends on what your overall GPA is and your goals for your course, major, etc. So we don't have enough information to answer your question about whether you should continue or not.
But if you decide that you want to give up the midterm in lieu of other things that are more important, I don't think that makes you a bad person. Life is full of choices, and as long as you are willing to accept the consequences of your choices, you'll be fine in the end.

Why don't you turn in what you can? If you have started it, at least turn in what you've completed. And you said midterms are worth total 60%...how many midterms do you have?
Personally, I'd rather b*llshit and try to get the points I can than not turn in anything at all.

for me, i'll take that midterm... why not sacrifice now then have fun later?
you may never know what that thing can do to you, in my case i did not study for 1 quiz, then i failed it gravely, during the finals i need to get a 90+ mark, it was kind of hard, (accounting), so i failed, just due to that 1 little quiz... that's why you should never take anything lightly or for granted!

if you have 88% in your class why dont you take 100% and it is a take-home midterm!!!!!!!!
you are very lucky for that ;other student in other univirsities do not have this chance for EX. we have 30% for midterm and the rest for the final exam
so, please don't skip it...

According to the information you posted - you skip your mid-term you will fail the course. I would sacrifice the sleep rather than have to take the whole course over again.
Good Luck!!!

No don't skip. Hand it and then relax. Then you won't be stressed out over your final.
