I have always felt that the lyrics were about looking at someone while in a drugged out stupor "I'm looking at you trough the glass", glassy eyeballs, a buzz " Don't know how much time has passed sometimes feels like forever (or something like that)" Lost sense of reality, and time perception " But no one ever tells you that forever feels like home when your sitting all alone inside your head" drug induced stupor in which a lot of thought, albeit distorted thought, and the "home" refers to the feeling of a person who is more comfortable on the drugs. I don't do drugs, that is just my interpretation of the song. See ya'!
