How long should I keep statements and other papers relating to the deceased?

Most suggest at least 3 yrs,but I would keep them for at least 5yrs,maybe even put them in a safe box for good.

Keep the records as long as you live because these are evidence of properties.

i would put them away in a safe place in home and leave them as long as you want why destroy them when one day they may be relevant to you
