You can ask the same question here 10 times, and get 10 different legitimate responses each time. If people don't want to keep responding to the same question, they don't have to...

THat would be a good idea for certain topics. It seems like a hundred zillion people have already asked questions like "what is true love?", or "Do you think there will be world peace?". Enough of that! But there are other questions that are unusually personal and it would be unfair to say one can't ask a circumstantial question because another had a similar (yet different) question in a simliar situation. Even if all the same answers are given, each asker will think a different answer is appropriate to his/her circumstance.

No as I have been seeing that some of the people asking the same or similar questions are newbes to the site. Gets boring I agree . But there is nothing saying that you have to answer any or all of the questions..

You asked this same question about 20 seconds ago...
I stick with my last answer, No. Because people in the surveying population might change over time.
But give it a bit more than 20 secs

+ no just leave it the same. You can get more different answers at later times so it is just as effective. also I noticed that some same questions were in more than one category so that different kinds of people might answer them. It seems to be as much about the answers as it is about the questions. I answer more than I ask, so lets not discourage askers. at least for this answerer's sake.

Not really. This is a big forum. You can ask the same question everyday for a week, and get many and varied answers.Thats why this forum can be so irritating and helpful.

No. Even small differences in questions can make big differences.
