so that when you ask a question that is vastly similar to others that have already been asked and resolved, rather than just listing these, the asker MUST review them and either choose a new 'best answer' or rewrite the question so that it is not so dang similar?

No, because the populations responces can change at diffrent times when the same question is asked.

I hope you understand what I am getting at. Three days and a word or two can make a real diffrence in the responce.

+ no just leave it the same. You can get more different answers at later times so it is just as effective. also I noticed that some same questions were in more than one category so that different kinds of people might answer them. It seems to be as much about the answers as it is about the questions. I answer more than I ask, so lets not discourage askers. at least for this answerer's sake.
