The best way is to spend the $50.
You can get a serious infection or bleed to death.
You need to have an experienced person do this for you.
Even then you are at great risk for an accident! Your tongue especially has major veins and nerves in it. If you poke through one of those, you may lose the use of it, or worse get an infection and die! The human mouth is packed full of germs, is very difficult to heal wounds. Good luck! I would pay the $50 and be a bit safer, or not pierce that stuff. Treat your body as a temple, and worship it, don't desecrate it.

...don't do it yourself. You can paralyze your face by piercing your own tongue/nose. I'm not kidding.. I'm dead serious. Leave that up to the professionals. My husband pierced his own eyebrow when he was a teenager.. and got a serious infection, which sent him to the hospital. im assuming you can damage nerves in your eye area as well. Its not worth the damage you could do to yourself. SEE A PROFESSIONAL! They use sterilized equipment, and they know where to, and where not to, pierce. If its not worth the money to you... its not worth doing

ok it has to be a certain kind of metal so it will actually hea!!l I washed my hands with an anti-bacterial soap then slid on gloves, placed a dental drape on my mayo stand, got an autoclaved pair of clamps from my drawer and opened them and placed them on the drape, got an autoclaved package of impliments (toothpick, rubber band, 4x4, 9 q-tips, 2 med cups) opened it and placed them on the drape, then put simple saline in one med cup, and Betadine in the other, placed a dot of gentiane violet on the drape, and a dot of Xylocaine as well, I got 2 16 gauge needles from my clean drawers and 2 16 gauge 7/16 mini barbells from the draw as well placing them on the drape.
Here I removed my gloves, rewashed my hands (dam dust), and slid on new gloves. Now I began marking my placement which is alot harder when doing it to yourself but after many tries I thought I had it, here I wrapped my clamps with the rubber band for tension and placed them on my first brow area (here i double and triple check my placement because it is hard to see if it's perfect), now I take my needle placing some Xylocaine gel on it and slide the needle through
(this isnt info i have said personally)

As with anything else-if it is important to you it is worth doing right and worth waiting for. There are SO many bad things that can happen.
I know this isn't the answer you wanted but it's the only ethical one.

If i were you i would't i think piercing any other places then the ear are unattractive and only used for sexual junk. I mean your belly button is covered up and your tongue is also.
So if i were you I would reconcider.
