Best thing to have done if you want to keep any babies is to have put her in a breeding tank/net of some sort, not a lot you can do to help of course, leave it to the fish, how do you know she has not eaten them? you cant watch her 24 hours,or have you lol, how many she will have depends on her age of course,as they get older its not uncommon for them to have just very few in number ...I imagine the reason for going back and forth is because she doesnt like being in the net, leave it to the fish, what will be will be ....

Some fish including guppies will not release all there baby's at once it could take up to 24 to 48 hours to release all the baby's. I have a female sailfin molly who when pregnant will take up to 74 hours to release all her baby's. So don't worry. As far as the net goes sounds like a good idea unless there are other fish in the tank waiting for the baby's. What I do is use fry grass. It is a very dense mat of grass that the adults can't get through because of there size but the baby's can get into because they are small enough to fit in between the blades of grass. I have a peice that is 4 inches by 6 inches that I use when I have pregnant females and the baby's swim right to it and the adult fish can't get at them to eat them.

Yeah existence is demanding, yet i'm attempting to pull myself mutually the terrific i will, one step at a time & all that.. basically experience rather valueless at times, suicidal recommendations have cropped up better than as quickly as.. yet i don't think of I even have the balls to kill myself, or i might have finished it already.

Well,
I am an aquariest. These fish breed all the time, they are live breeders also. They generally have about 1-10 babies and can breed sometimes up to every month. Hope this helps.
Wee Man.

Don't worry its just a normal, but the best thing to do is, remove that guppy from the tank and put her in one bucket, water with 6 inch height. And use your towel or newspaper to cover that bucket properly. Be sure that inside of the bucket is totally dark so that mum could not see anything and she can't eat any of her fry. Leave this for 5 to 6 hours and after this u can release female guppy in her original tank. This process can help you to save all fry.
Good Luck

She is just birthing.
She is also trying to get out of the net since she isn't used to being in there.
It can take a while for her to have all of her baby's, so be patient.
There is nothing you can do to help her give birth.

Don't worry-it just takes a while. Just make sure the babies get under the net or they will be eaten in seconds.

I think that your guppy is a newcomer in pregnancy. That is what always happen when a newcomewr is in pregnancy!
