He definately has earned the right to come into Training Camp on even ground with Daunte Culpepper.

Yes, Joey has earned the starting job in Miami. Culpepper is a fair QB at best, Joey has stepped up nicely for the Dolphins this year. You can't look at Joey's time in Detroit as what his ability is like. Detroit sucks, they always have and you see how much better he's performed since he's out of there. Joey should be the Dolphins starter next season.

One word answer. NO
long answer-They pay Culpepper way to much money to not start him, so until you here that culpepper was cut or traded he is the starter next year. The most he has done is earn himself even ground in training camp. I just think Culpepper is too good and makes too much

Absolutely.
But most coaches will tell you that they have to 'earn' that spot during training camp and pre-season, so don't be surprised if Saban keeps his options open when Culpepper's 100% healthy next season.

He has definately proven he can handle his position, but, like alot of them, look out for next year. At this point, one can not honestly know how Culpepper will end up. Oh yah,,what about Shane Matthews now?

you obviously didn't watch him for 5 years when he was a lion. accuracy is his problem, which is a BIG problem in the NFL he'll never be a starting quaterback again after this season.
