If he US did not exist Russia would have the superpower to take over after WWII. Do you think that would have been better? Stalin killed 20 million of his own people. Think he would have cared what the rest of the world thought? He would have destroyed Germany immediately, and controlled all of Europe Russian style. Wouldn't that be lovely?
Now if America was to disappear now, The Middle East would still be killing each other as fast as they could. Even without Israel. The Sunnis and Shiites are going to fight as they do now. Hamas is shooting at the members of FATA in Palestine and Hezbollah is trying to take over Lebanon. Then at this time in the world, no America, China is the Superpower. Wonderful maybe? Well they put people in Prison for disagreeing with the Government, or for having to many kids without permission, Tear down church's and imprison ministers. They would take Taiwan back by force, they already have Tibet under their control (where's the UN and Europe crying about that?) Remember Tiaminan Square? That's how they treat people. The Us is the only ting stopping them from doing in Taiwan, and was the only thing that stopped Russia from taking all of Western Europe. Who else is going to stop them? France? Britain as tough and fierce as they can be could not save all of Europe by themselves. The Alliance between Great Britain and America is what has kept Western Europe and large parts of Asia free. Think about what you ask for and do some research, not just spout what the fools at your school yap.

WIthout the U.S. as a world power, the void would be filled by another power. It seems to me, that despite the availability of pros (Endless mitigation and aide) and cons (China, the asian contenent as a whole) on the foriegn policy of the U.S., the best one can expect of even the best leaders is only about 70% correct decisivenes. As for Isreal, there is no peaceful decision. The complexety of the situation is so far ingrained and delluded that patience and hope can only solve anything.

USA is a better choice than the past superpowers, because in the past the European Colonists ruled the world. They waged wars and exploited other countries directly. Even before that the threat of Islamic invaders and its barabaric followers from middle east and central asia started invasions and plundering. AND IF USA CEASE TO EXIST THE MUSLIMS WILL AGAIN POSE A BIG THREAT TO THE OTHER SOCIETIES. We should not forget that the freedom of USA was the first of all revolutions of the modern world. Even though USA became arrogant, selfish and imperial in the future, they ofcourse give chance to the smart countries to emerge fairly. Israel is inevitable, what do you think about their existance. They are just 'smart' that they know how to live in the middle of enemies who even question the existance of other believers and societies.

The Muslims in the Mid East were fighting each other before there ever was an America or Israel. They like killing. Peace is not something they want. What is new is that they blame it all on America.

Well, your question does offend me.

How dare you even suggest that the world without the United States should even be an option.

That would be like me stating that a world without you or your country would be a better place. I don't have the right to say that.

I think it'd be less advanced in technology and the economics of the world would be slower. I also think, however, that there would be less violence because alot of countries dislike both America and Israel. So that's the pros and cons in a nutshell.

Very doubtful. America supports many countries with money or military and Israel has a right to exist. The world could not survive without the two.

it is not the existence of the countries that make the world peace ful, but the policies of the government that make the world peaceful.

When I just read the question, and not what you had written underneath it, my first thought was, "PEACE". Great minds think alike.
