i have no clue on where to start, my boss wants me to make a web page for our company and it is mind boggling i'm about to pull my hair out. i've read all these things about html and etc. but it makes no sense to me. yea it seems easy to do a few of the examples but when it gets to putting pictures WHERE YOU WANT THEM and and other stuff it's not explained on the website that help you. i'm looking at all these other pages and it looks like a piece of cake to make it, but hell i'm trying and i'm getting to the title and background color and that's all. will someone please help me before i jump off the building....

Yes, building a website is not that easy to learn. It takes a lot of time and patience to do that. The best solution to your problem is to hire a professional to do the job. It would be useful to get an HTML Editor.

If it's for your company hire some professional graphic and webpage maker. Look it up in the yellow pages or search in the internet. There's lots of them around.

Hire a pro, no chance to learn all the programming well in less than years. That, or use those free editors and templates.
