how do i make a batch file that when clicked opens calculator

At the simplest, assuming standard Windows installation

1) open notepad
2) type "start calc" (without the quotes)
3) save the file with a name of your choice ending in .bat, and save it in the location of your choice.

You shouldn't need a batch file. Just create a shortcut. Start-->Search and choose Files or folders and search for calc.exe. When found, right-click and hit Create Shortcut, and tell it you want to place it on the desktop.

for Xp
1. right click & from "new" choose "new text document"
2.Rename .txt to .bat
3.right click the file and click "edit"
4.write c:\windows\system32\calc.exe in the file u made
5.save it

that's it.

Its very simple

Add this code in notepad and save as RUN.BAT

calc

Now save it and run it :)
