I don't see why they should be....because most men are horn dogs will accept almost anything coming their way that they know they will get some action out of.

I can't say that I am but it is a sterotypical thing. Women see other women in magazines and movies that are perfect and they feel they have to live up to that. All, I can tell you is that most of those women are airbrushed and fixed to look better by a computer. All you can do is exercise and eat healthy. If you are talking about someone in paticular then I would reassure that she is beautiful and does not need to loose weight. But if it is a serios problem with her where it takes over her life above everything else then I would advise that she gets some help or talk to someone that deals with that.

I think you mean self-conscious.
For that, I have three reasons: 1) men are visually-oriented, 2) women can be harsh critics, and 3) the media is evil
One...men are visually oriented. You like to wonder why women fret about their weight, waste time on their looks, and are concerned with appearance. But this is because you like to see women who are thin/fit, women who look pretty.
Two...women can be harsh critics. Well, men can be too. But that is often out of stupidity. Teenage girls who are mean will be mean to those who aren't. Some of them never grow out of that.
Three...the media is evil. Well...I don't have to tell you why. You should already know!
But as for me...I don't worry about my weight all the time but I want to try to lose some more. If I'm going to date again, the guy's going to be hot, damn it.

We are judged by society and held to an unfortunate standard. Plus pretty and good looking people have it easier. I read that somewhere. I have actually gotten jobs just for my looks. I think it depends on the person. I know I feel better about myself if I am at my ideal weight rather than even being five pounds past that. Not everyone will agree with me, to each his own.

& u wana know y... coz d world is surrounded by skinny, thin & anorexic models whom most ppl idolize..
this weight issue will never end unless women in particular stop eating junkies, exercise regularly & start believing in their self

I am not. I keep a general "eye" on it. Make sure I don't get heavy or too skinny, other than that, I don't care. I would never want to be "model skinny", nor would I want to be fat, but I just keep it healthy and relax. There are real things to worry about.

society and peer pressure the desire to want to fit in
just imagine growing up with barbies and stuff
There are a lot issues with them
their boobs are too big
they are too skinny
their feet are not porportioned to their body
and their arms are not porportioned right
and I can conclude that some girls want to look like a barbie so much that we go anorexic bulemic and such
all because of what we play with!
