I do that all the time. In fact, I can sit in my chair and lose, my pen, paper, keys,paper clips...etc...! Get my meaning? I hate it when "I put things up"! I lose them 50% of the time. I'm no teenager! lol And I have done this for years. lol So don't feel alone!:)

I've done it a couple times. Usually means it was a good hiding spot. Sucks at the time, but it's always nice to randomly find $50 that you hid months earlier.
Stop looking for the gift card. It will turn up, and most gift cards don't expire. I'm sure it will make your day.

i have done that many a times but wound up finding it later on down the line. i am 57 years old. but that shouldn't really matter. people of all ages hide something and couldn't remember where they put it.

alot of things... i did that alot when i was really small- i hid almost anything that ment something to me. ended up loosing most of them.. somehow ended up in trash, or i never found them... some of the things been missing for over few years now.

i did that with $500 after i got paid and found it 1 month later and i'm 28 but that happened when i was 19
