WHERE THE MIND IS WITHOUT FEAR
BY RABINDRANATH TAGORE

Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high;
Where knowledge is free;
Where the world has not been broken up into fragments by narrow
domestic walls;
Where words come out from the depth of truth;
Where tireless striving stretches its arms towards perfection;
Where the clear stream of reason has not lost its way into the
dreary desert sand of dead habit;
Where the mind is led forward by thee into ever-widening thought
and action--
Into that heaven of freedom, my Father, let my country awake.

Sounds to me like he's talking about heaven. He wants perfection for everyone on Earth. He wants God to allow everyone into heaven so they can experience all of the things listed above. Either that or he just wants peace on Earth...no one would judge others and everyone would be able to express their opinions without ridicule. That's my interpretation at least. If I looked at it longer and examined it I would be able to get more, but I'm too tired and it's finals week here....hope that helps!

He is praying and dreaming of how life should be instead of what it is currently in his country(world).
