It comes naturally, its why they become professors....no really, there are assholes everywhere. You were just lucky! Now don't you feel special.
When I was in HS a rather famous prisoner was released from CMF....he used to go to Lyons for breakfast where my mother and I took our little old neighbor. Theodore Streleski was a doctoral candidate I believe at UC Berkley.... his advisors dicked him around with his disertation so much that after months and months of being told to do it this way by one, only to have the next one tell him, no I would like to see it this way....the man, a very intelligent mild mannered man, finally totally lost it and bashed his advisors head in.....I bet you can understand how he did it. They kept trying to parole him but he wanted to serve his time so he would be free when he got out. Be glad your professor is only an asshole and chalk it up to life!

He is earning too much money, too much money changes people, somehow, if you can find a way to make him lose all his money, blackmail or drugs or prostitiutes or whatever you will soon see a marked improvement
