Look for something similar to the Kingston Data Traveler.

I learned by experience that many such drives have fragile enclosures (casings) which break, open or crack too easily if accidentally dropped or mishandled.

I do not recommend the flip-top style of enclosures because they do not protect the USB connector against dust or humidity as well as the snap on types. I once forgot my Kingston in my pants pocket & put them through & entire wash & dry cycle ... when I pugged it in my PC it still worked great with no data loss whatsoever.

The semiconductors inside they devices are all from a handful of manufacturers ... memory quality is really not an issue. Look for a physically solid unit & if you wish one that also has good security features.
