Neither one, really. I suppose we all lie, no matter how small the lie. And, I will tell someone something that needs to be told. For example, when I found out someone's boyfriend was harming her, I called and told her mother, even though she had swore my daughter to secret and I happened to read it over her shoulder (told her on IM). Those kinds of secrets need to be told!!
