In all honestly, I really love the way Don Nelson coaches and the influx of energy he has brought back to the Warriors after 12 years. However, when it comes to the roster, Nelson is just working with what he's got--the roster from last year.

Players who are playing extended minutes this year such as Monta Ellis, Andris Biedrins, and Mickael Pietrus were in last year's roster. Nelson just uses them differently.

Nelson has also found other proverbial "diamonds in the rough" in Matt Barnes and Anthony Roberson.

Jason Richardson and Troy Murphy have been virtually non-existent this year due to injury while former all-star Baron Davis has been very consistent (and relatively injury-free) this early into the NBA season.

But watch out! There is a rumor of a potential trade in the works that would bring Allen Iverson to the Bay Area for B-Davis, Andris Biedrins, and/or Mickael Pietrus/Monta Ellis.

We would just have to wait and see.

Hope this helps.

I like Nelson's style of play....the only problem is that they can't get a set starting lineup in place -- he seems to change it every night. Injuries haven't been kind to them either. They do have potential though. They're like the new version of the current Phoenix Suns.

It's OK, but they need to improve better.
