I would have to suggest using the kind of chapstick that's in a squeeze tube not a twist up tube. Also use something that's medicated so that it appears that you are applying for more of a purpose. Carmex works really well. However....if you prefer the twist up type, just make sure that while you're applying it you don't pucker your lips I think that would be the only concern. Make sure that anything you get is untinted, unscented, and un flavored. All of those things would make your chapstick use appear to be more feminine. Great question. I know of several men that need chapstick and have issues with others seeing them use it. Whatever.....if you need it you need. I'd rather a man have soft lips that chapped lips. hehe

I see a lot of manly men putting on chapstick without looking in the mirror. Practice doing that to make sure you don't miss your lips and apply it on your chin.

Hi! Try the kind that comes in a round tube with a screw off lid like Carmex or Savex, then you just put it on with your finger rather than the lipstick like container that Chapstick comes in. Hope it helps! :)

It doesn't really matter hun! Any girl will love a guy that puts on chapstick because they will see that you take good care of yourself and you will have soft kissable lips. :) Plus, they will think it's really great because some men won't put it on because they think it's "girly". I guess all I can say is, don't pucker your lips?

lol yeah, my guy friend buys carmex in the metal pot. you stick your finger in it. also carmex is the best chapstick and it's under a buck. It's just a little thing that you can stick in your pocket. you know what though? my ex used to wear regular old chapstick and he just rubbed it on his lips. If anyone gives you trouble, screw them if it bothers them. who gives a rat's @$$ if they have problems w/it. You rock on!

I don't know of an especially manly way, but something tells me that the fact that you're concerned about it means that you have nothing to worry about in that department.

Whether in a tube or in a tub, applying it to your lips with your finger 'appears' more manly that the tubular lipstick approach.

Do it in private, then no one can tell. But then imagining a guy putting on chapstick, in my opinion, is surprisingly sexy.
