Alonzo Lee (Zo Lee) . . . he's Nelly's producer and has recently been working with Janet Jackson. I used to work at a grocery store and Zo would come in every week or two to stock up for Nelly. Long story short, we all live in a small suburb and run into each other from time to time.
About 15 years ago, my ex-husband and I used to hang out with the wrestlers when they were in town. We met Ric Flair, Dustin Rhodes and Dusty Rhodes just to name a few.
When I was in high school, we took a family vacation (driving) to California and we met Nikki Sixx (Motley Crue) in a little diner having breakfast in Southern California.
Last, but not least, we attended the same church as Kurt and Brenda Warner (former QB for the St. Louis Rams).

I don't know anyone famous personally, but I have been in the presence of celebrity status a few times. For example, Aaliyah was only a few steps away from me in San Francisco when MTV was holding their I Wanna Be A VJ contest at Fort Mason. I even had videotape of that experience.

I met Mark Slaughter of the band Slaughter and worked with his mom Lonnie at the Las Vegas Metro Police dept for 3 years. I saw Mark every week when he wasn't on tour and he lives in Vegas to this day. Does this count? He's famous in the music world.

I know Adam LaRoach who plays first base for the Atlanta Braves. I went to High School with him at Fort Scott HIgh School in Kansas. We use to hang out all the time.

I know a few of the people who are on the HBO series The Wire. I work with them. (Most of them still have to have a full time job in order to make ends meet)

ok, i havent met somone famous, but my mom did. when she was still in the philippines, she used to board with the family of the music group fleetwood mac. amazing!!! but she found that their lives were pretty miserable and weird.
