Yes it will slow down your computer. Depending on how big the file is. If you didn't know www.mozilla.com FireFox makes downloads faster I thinks its twice maybe three times as fast as IE Internet explore. Hope this helps.

It depends on what company the game is coming from. some of them are ok. I know that yahoo is ok but don't go to armac? not sure how to spell it. some of them will put in pop ups automatically and u can't get rid of them. so just be careful on which one u down load. some of them can slow ur computer down. because i did and had big problems with my computer. it let a virus in it which really slowed me down and had trouble getting into my mail.

depends what you mean. your internet will be slower while downloading that game.

and if you have any decent computer at all 1 single game of 601mb shouldnt do much damage to your computer. unless youre trying to run the game, aim, msn, ym, irc, internet, microsoft word, paint and realplayer. then yes your comp will be barely moving because its overloaded.

Of course, because you're using up system resources, if you have a decent ammount of RAM and a broadband connection or better, you shouldn't have to worry about anything though.
