Sahara, Imperial Palace... has anyone ever stayed in it? Which hotel is closest to MGM and Paris? I guess either way, I'll get to see it...

Sahara is not close to Paris or MGM, IP is closer, actually IP is in better location than Sahara, just next to Venetian and in front of Mirage

There really isn't any comparison. The Imperial Palace is right in the middle of all the great sightseeing on the strip, and it's much nicer than the Sahara, which is way up at the north end of the strip. The entertainment at the IP is excellent, too. Try to see the Legends In Concert show; it's great. But try to get the discount tickets either with coupons from the free magazines, or by using a ticket discounter. (See the links below.) Oh, and your question shows you haven't done any reading up, which is essential to having the best time in Vegas. It's not like the old days: you need reservations for the best shows and restaurants, and there's so much to see and do that you have to plan ahead. Start clicking below.

Oh my gosh. You lucky duck. My friend and I went 3 years ago and stayed at the Aladdin. We lucked out and got a room that faced the Bellagio and it's fountains. Still look at those pictures I took from that room of those fountains. Big windows, huge room, huge fabuluous bathroom. Great service. Paris, the Pyramid, New York, all right there. We were like hillbillies transformed into queens for the 3 days we were there. I shopped around and found that that suit-2 queen beds- was the most reasonable for what we were lookin' for. Make sure and ask for a room that is above and faces the Bellagio hotel. You will have so much fun. Good luck!
