yes, i think to a certain extent. But, for me when I say 'we need to talk' i mean that. I want to vent and tell why i feel this way or that way. But, I also want to find out why he is doing the things that he is doing that make me feel this way or that way. In the end, what I am looking for is an apology for whatever actions and a promise that he is not going to do what I do not want him to do anymore and then I want him to profess his undying love for me and his desire to make his queen (me) happy at all costs. If I don't get this exact results, then I will continually go to him and tell him that "we need to talk" until I get the desired outcome. So, my advice is to beg for mercy and forgiveness, vow to never do these things again, and profess your undying love. If not, then I'm sure you'll be having the same talk over and over again. :)

Sometimes, when I say it, it just means that we need to talk about something. Sometimes it's a death sentence,
sometimes it's something in between, like "I need to complain"

Maybe it just means that she needs you to actually shut the TV off for 10 minutes and listen to her.

I think that saying means there's something that needs to be cleared up,but I don't think it means in the form of a complaint, necessarily. there are different forms of "talking",and depending on the circumstances, I would have to guess that unless she isn't balling her hands into fists, and has steam coming out of her ears, as she's saying this, then you dont' have to worry...

She's probably frustrated about something in your relationship that isn't working right or something. She wants to talk about it. Or she might want to talk about something going on in her life that she's dealing with...just be prepared for a serious conversation...best of luck!
