It is definitely not 7th. As in 1969 tuesdays falls on 4, 11, 18, & 25, whereas in 1970 tuesday falls on 3, 10, 17 & 24.
The date should be one of the dates mentoned above.

I too had the same problem like this, But I found my correct date of birth.
My mother told I was born on Monday, night 10.30. My aunt told it was May in 1952
My mother remembered my star as Uthirattadhi.
I found it with panchangams of those years matching all and found it was exactly on 19th may 1952.
I confirmed this through NADI JOTHIDAM by palm leaves which gives us the exact horoscope.
