I'm assuming you installed some sort of low restriction exhaust. This changed the airflow characteristics of your engine and it is now starving for fuel.

You need to install larger jets in the carburetor to compensate. I would go at least one size larger on the jets. If you have multiple carburetors, you must do this in each one. You may also need to adjust your ignition timing.

You must do this ASAP. A lean running engine can cause detonation. Detonation can cause you to either burn a valve or a piston requiring some expensive repairs.

In most cases, this will require you to remove each carburetor and do some minor disassembling. If you are unsure, bring the bike to a certified reputable motorcycle mechanic.

Depending on the pipes you may need to re-jet the carb to compensate for the freer flowing exhaust. also while you are at it upgrade the cam

Make, model, year of bike. What exhaust was installed. Any other mods.

you definetely need to re-jet the carb.new pipes and new jets go hand in hand.It will be fine without new cams.
