HE was a surreal artist who is most famous for his painting entitled the Son of Man. Many of his work make a political statement and one was known for it's prediction of WWII...I did a project on him several years ago. Mainly his work is hard to interpret but portrays a common theme. He's also known for his recreations of other artists works. I would select a few painting of his and explain them for your presentation. You can usually find these explanations in books about him, or if your pressed for time I'm sure there are plenty of websites! Hope this helps.

I truthfully like him, yet I even have not viewed all of his artwork. I did use one in each of his innovations in modifying a image that I took in Italy. there's a small walled city at Bagnoreggio that I photographed from a neighboring mountain with the assumption corresponding to a portray by Magritte the place there's a huge rock in the sky over a sea coast and the huge rock has a small city on authentic of it. I used Adobe playstation 7 to change it in a Magritte mode.

Start by using the slide:
This is not a slide.
Then use Wikipedia...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ren%C3%A9_Magritte
Magritte & Baudrillard (the hyperreality guy) are a good mix...
Baudrillard's book 'Cool Memories 2' (or 'Cool Memories II') has a fine paragraph about how the image on the computer screen is transitional (what one sees on a LCD screen is an optical illusion)... very Magritte...& can I recommend you look up Donald Hoffman? He is @ Irvine.. his work on visual intelligence if mixed w/ one or two comments about Baudrillard & a brief guide drawn (forgive the possible pun) from Wikipedia should get you the reputation of either being truly intimidating or knowing someone who is truly intimidating...
Claim, if you're asked where you got these ideas, that you met the Santa Claus of Semiotics on Yanswers...
then direct said folks to: antiparanoid.blogspot.com
God knows, I need the publicity...

p.p.s: if Priestess Pachina is over 21, then please mail me...I've never dated a Priestess... &, like almost every other thoughtful guy, I've always wondered...
