Sounds like it's full of air. If there's a spot for a valve, look good, it may have been broken off and just forgotten about. If you don't have the knowledge to fix it call someone in, they'll have to "break" a pipe or drill our the valve opening and replace the valve. Your going to need one anyway so you might just as well do it now that you need it before the weather gets really cold.
Check all your units while someones there to fix them.
