I suggest that you hang mistletoe over the entrance to your house or the doorway to the common areas of your house (like the living room or dinning room). This way, should that special someone arrive for your holiday celebrations you have an excuse to greet him/her with a kiss. Everyone else you can greet with hug or a kiss on the cheek.

I work at the front desk at a hotel and we have a little room in the back office where switchboard is. Everyone always hangs out in there while taking a little break. So I hung it above the door way.
