In my neighboorhood, a lot of people leave their blinds open at
night with the lights on and anyone can see inside their house
from the street. I don't know about you, but I like my privacy...
Perhaps somebody can explain why people do this.

I don't know, maybe they want to show off what they have. So people can still the stuff hehehe. They could just like looking out the window rather than the walls.

I have left my blinds open all night by just being lazy. I will lay on the couch watching TV, and then it gets dark outside, and I don't want to get up just to close them. Then, I'll wake up at like 3:30, and close them on my way to bed (or not!).

They probably don't care if someone can see inside their home. They might feel like they have nothing to hide.

so in the morining the light will come in - i'm not sure - maybe lazyness - people are comfortable at home

I would think that they just don't realize they are open .
It has happened to me once or twice .
