Boston has a young population so the city always has an awesome night-life.
It's a great place to go to school as well as a fun place to hang out...... you can go to school/work, visit a museum, dine at a nice restaurant, meet cool people at a bar or dance club, and pass out drunk at a keg party all in the same day ..... and most of the time you will find all these things in less than a mile radius of each other.

I just like the city much better, and think there is more to do, nice atmosphere, etc. Although I have only visited Philly, never lived there and I will admit that makes a big difference! I am interested in what others will say; especially people who have lived in both!
