It's not about the destination, but what you do on your way there. That said, if life is a highway, I think I'm lost.

Take adventure road to family highway take the 2 kids off ramp to school drive. Make a right on soccer street. go past baseball drive to the intersection of High School and Jr, High Street.
Take some pictures on Home Coming and Prom Avenues and take the on ramp to College Highway.
Go until you reach grandkids drive and make a left at Retirement Avenue with stops on travel and relaxation street.
And you've reached your destination (at least that is my current destination).

Very good point of yours, I was about to answer that I didn't like the destination, I intend to enjoy the ride and have several stops on the way.
Destination: Tranquility and the place where the child remains.

my destination would something like paradise but if life is like a highway then there would always be surprises especially if it is on a highway that is not familiar. That would be my destination and that is how I like it because life is full of surprises.
