Does anyone know/ know where i can find out if
If i was living in Australia New South Wales,
And i went on a one year student exchange to the USA or Canada.
When i got back would i have to repeat year 10?
At my school you have to do a 2 year course (as an elective) if i got away would i have to do the same lessons

The person with all these answers is your school counselor. Only a school official will be able to provide you with the regulations about your specific situation. I know from experience that some Australian students who spent a year in South America did not have to repeat their academic year in Australia, but this may not be the case for everyone. Contact your school counselor or principal about this.
