your question is a little vague so its hard to say, theres a renter credit, and with 3 kids and married you will have credits but you don't say how old your kids are etc..If you owned a home you would have more credits for mortgage interest and taxes etc..Itemize all you can..you don't say what tax bracket and if your wife is employed ...

Make sure you claim the federal credit for the repeal of the excise tax on telecommunications. It's not much, but it's an extra 60 dollars.
