I am absolutely sick of gays trying to shove their perverted lifestyles on everyone. If you want to live a perverted lifestyle, then so be it but don't expect everyone to fall all over you and accept the way you want to live. Just shut up and get on with it. And another thing, it's disgusting that you use the colors of the rainbow (created by God as a covenant between Him and man that He would never destroy the earth with water again) as your sign. It disgusts me and in no way makes me want to warm up to a gay person. I can accept you as a human being but I will never, ever accept your lifestyle.

I'm not angry with gays, I'm angry with their abuse of power to force acceptance of their lifestyle on young children in the public school system (I homeschool), in our churches, on our television, and so on and so on. If Christians were the kind of out spoken, judgmental people they are accused of being then we probably wouldn't be dealing with this issue now. The time for us to have stood up for our rights has passed. But then again, the Bible does say that the world will wax more evil as time progresses to the end.

Here's more for you who don't think I know what I'm talking about.
Well I know first hand what it's like when you find out your 28 yr old daughter is involved in a gay relationship when you find her sitting on her kitchen floor, alone and in the dark, puking her guts out because she has alcohol poisoning due to the fact that she can't live with the guilt of what she has done. It was devastating to her as well as her family. I took her to the ER and brought her home with me. We loved her through it and she has turned her back on that lifestyle and is trying to put the pieces of her life back together. She was in such a place needing to feel loved and it was offered to her by a female friend. Gays will tell you that it's normal and to accept yourself but it's a lie. It's a tormented lifestyle and one that they can get out of but they have to want it. I've seen other families devastated by the decision for their child to live the life of a homosexual. No good comes from it.

The rainbow is in the Bible as an apology from God for destroying the Earth? Why does your God have to enter into a covenant to stop destroying the Earth? Does he feel he's sinned? What Bible are you reading? Is ROY G BIV in the Bible? For goodness' sake, a rainbow is a scientific phenomenon. Is God in The Wizard Of Oz too? Oh, wait, that's right... the Wiz acted as such. Thank goodness he was overwhelmed by courage, heart and compassion.
That your daughter should have been so frightened of being herself it caused her to vomit says a great deal about you. People don't "become" gay because someone of the same sex is nice to them. How sad her anxiety about the intolerance inherent in her learning spirituality from you should make her severely ill. How sad she should think her god so unjust and cruel she needs to "reprogram" herself at your home.

yet you just cant stay away from the gay and lesbian section ....lol
I thank God for the internet. Because an occasional roll in the hay is a wonderful thing! A quick annoyomous sexual tryst either gay or straight is what many of us deeply inside want. And thanks to the internet ...we GET!
Yet, some bent out of shape conservatives would control our lives so much that they would not only condemn us from doing that , they would prevent us from even seeing pictures / images of such or even reading about it.
I find it quite ironic that the very terrorists we seek to control /eliminate such as the Talaiban have the same inner thoughts and motives that have been exhibited by the Christian right...that is control our moral lives!
Believe me I am not advocating a society where Child molestation is tolerated, Raping is overlooked, and street prostitution is open and wild. But sex between two consenting adults...YES! Between any two adults or 3, or 4, or 5, straight or gay or mixed.
I bet there is some hatefull right wing codger reading his right now full of hate, yet within in the next few days , and in the privacy of their own own home is going to slip a well lubed cucumber or zuchinni up their butt. Then, a few days later speak out in hate against anyone else who advocates freedom of sexual expression or experiance in the privacy of their own home.
The Christian right has no idea just how fed up many of us are with the hypocracy and are overjoyed to see these news stories coming out. And the word is...... "COMING OUT"

Is there someone who lives near you that is crashing on your porch and forcing you to watch gay sex? Are they all targeting you or something?? Is a gay man trying to get you in bed or something??
It seems to me (by your tone) that you are looking for it just so you can complain about seeing anything "gay".
You will see this (gays) everywhere. More and more people are finally not scared of letting people know they're gay because they aren't being persecuted everywhere by people like you. It doesn't mean you have to get used to it or even like it at all; but you don't have to be abusive towards others just because you don't agree with their lifestyle. What is "perverted" to you is totally natural to others. You know you're right so why isn't that enough for you? Leave them alone and live your own life. And if some person is badgering you then take it up with that person and not the whole gay community. Most live very quietly just so they don't cause a stir and get harrased by anti-gay activists.
Geez, take a pill or something. What got your panties in a wad?

I want to change my answer from last night.. After I read your little "detail" thing, i have a different opinion. It is valid for you to hate homosexuals. I mean you were hurt because your daughter went through so much.. when you say that it's a tormenting way of life, your right in some ways, people who are confused may be living like that (because of family expectations, traditions, religion, etc).. Im sure your daughter was feeling the same way.. But you have to understand that we cant judge an entire group because of one experience.. Try to understand their perspective, it's not easy for them to be judged.. You probably think its unnatural, then why would God make them like that? their not better then everyone, or worst.. They're human beings who cant help the way they feel..
Hope that helped a bit, and good luck with your daughter..

First off, no one forced you to come to this catagory! You did so of your own FREE WILL!
Secondly, no one forces you to watch television shows or go see movies with gays or gay themes, you watch of your own FREE WILL!
Thirdly: Since when are Churches YOUR Churches and not open to ALL who wish to worship?
Fourthly: Who are you to judge what is perverted? How is a loving, committed, monogamous couple in anyway a perversion?
Fifth: The rainbow flag that is used by the GLBT community only has SIX COLORS, not SEVEN which would be a SCIENTIFIC representation of the COLOR SPECTRUM! (Sorry charlie, but God didn't create it, it's a SCIENTIFIC PHENOMINON CREATED BY LIGHT REFRACTION THROUGH WATER MOLECULES!)
Sixth: PUBLIC SCHOOLS are just that, PUBLIC! Gays and lesbians are TAX PAYING CITIZENS of this country, we raise and send OUR children to the SAME SCHOOLS! (OH, and yes, we DO HAVE AND RAISE WELL BALANCED, GOOD CITIZENS!)
Seventh: IT IS NOT A LIFESTYLE! It's simply a PART of what makes up our lives!
THERE IS NOT SUCH THING as a gay car, gay clothes, gay houses, gay jobs, gay furnature, gay appliences, gay food....these THINGS make up a lifestyle...not how and/or who someone LOVES!
Eighth: Until you ask realize you are SPREADING hate not LOVE as Jesus mandated, you are a scourge on the name of GOOD CHRISTIANS EVERYWHERE!
Have a pleasant evening. Please do not return to this catagory until you work for PEACE insted of HATE!

What if a straight guy got beat up for being straight? Same for women! What if you got beat up for being a red-head? What about for being short? Think about it! What if someone told you, "I am not going to accept your lifestyle as a religious person?" "Be it, but leave everyone else out of it!" "Don't ask, don't tell" Think about it. Someone not accepting you for who you are. What if your mother wasn't accepted for being a woman? So American. I am a citizen of the U.S. and I am embarrassed whenever I see and hear ideas like this. How about you stop "shoving" your lifestyle on everyone?
And the rainbow... maybe it means something to those people just like the "stars and stripes" means something to some people. When I see "stars and stripes" I don't think "Freedom & American dream" no I think of people like you that think, "If you're not like me you are wrong or, as you say 'perverted'.
By the way, for every gay "always in our faces" there is also an idiot "always in our faces"

I guess you would say that I'm evil for wanting to not have to worry that I might be fired just for being gay. For dreaming of one day having a family with the man I love. For demanding to be able to stand by him should he become sick or injured. For asking to be able to live in peace without some jerk reminding me every single day of how "evil" and "sick" and "wrong" and "perverted" I am.
Right. I'm soooo evil for wanting the same basic rights and respect as you.
Gay people have only begun to achieve visibility and find our voice. This is required in order to carve out a legitimate space for ourselves in society, but it seems you experience this push for equality as "shoving our perverted lifestyles on everyone."
How very sad.
Why do I get the feeling that a few decades ago, you would have been one of those people telling African Americans that they should "stay in their place"?

first of all, I never "shove" my lifestyle upon anyone. question here is, why do people like you hate so intensely? why are YOU people always in our faces telling us the we are perverted? I don't care what you think, personally. you're entitled to your ignorant, hateful opinion. but why don't you keep it to YOUR self?
and, no one has a copyright on the rainbow, dude. and are you God? no! how dare YOU assume the role of God and pass judgment on others? how Christian is it of you to preach hatred and intolerance? why don't you step back and take a look at your own behavior....because what I learned in church and Sunday school tells me that YOU are the sinner! you are the hypocrite! mind your own business and worry about your own self. you're the one that's going to have to answer to God for your sins. God created and loves us all, and He loves me just fine the way I am.
at least I know I don't ram my beliefs down peoples throats. don't like us? go hang out in another forum!

Gays do not shove their lifestyle onto anyone. And if you profess being a Christian, then you of all people should know that God's greatest gift, is love. That means God loves everyone. Even you for your sin of hate. "He who is without sin cast the first stone." Not only do you sound homophobic but are you questioning yourself and under conviction?

I agree with God. I'm sick of Christians forcing their sick and twisted ways down everyones throat.
In the book of Lev, it says you can't plant your two different types of crops in one field. I must admit, my turnips are planted in with my collards, am I going to hell?
The book of Lev, also says that eating pork, rabbit, and any other animal without the cloven hoof is a sin. I'm sure that you've eaten hot dogs before, should I stone you or what?
It is also a sin to wear clothing made of two different types of fabric. I' wearing cotton polyester blend, should I stone myself or have someone else do it?
The whole bible is a load of crap! And you are a fool for believng in such hateful things. Being a good person is what matters, not who you have sex with.
