Well, this is true in some cases. Especially when the man walks up and acts like he is the coolest thing on earth. If a woman wants to intimidate you she will pretend to be dumb. In other cases though; If a woman likes the way you look or your personality, she will try to act as if she is as smart as you or smarter. Watch out though,if the woman just wants a to ..... she can side track you. How? You may ask?! well she watches you all night sees what your eyes follow and don't follow. Then plays the game. This could lead to anything: diseases, her botfreind kicking your a.., or worse!!!

Haha...
Perhaps?
I don't think it's completely true. Maybe somewhere out there there really exists a minority group of such girls. I guess the reason why they'd do such a thing is because they really like the guy a lot, they're doing this out of spite or plain pity. Other than that, there's no reason why a girl would want to undermine or belittle themselves in the eyes of the opposite sex because there's really nothing to prove here except they're just feeding the ego of those guys.

I know it is true. Most guys' ego is so fragile. They can't stand other guys being smarter, least of all, girls! So, what is a girl to do? Smart ones play dumb! It's only logical.

YOU BET!!!! Guys have issues with women being smarter or making more money or driving while the guy is the passenger. I know my guy is that way. He is one of those old school mans man who thinks that women are never going to be better than men. So I stroke his ego a little now and then and ask him for help building things even though I am perfectly capable of doing it myself but it makes him feel needed.

Oh pLeAsE! That could not be further from the truth.... I am as dumb as I say! LOL!

Real response? Me personally I never play dumb. I am very intelligent however I don't know everything so I don't pretend to. "If I don't know something and I really want to know, I will ask regardless if it makes me appear dumb, then so be IT! "

Although I do have to admit my vulnerable and uncertain ways do seem to attract men, so you may have a point in what men see. I think they like to be the hero so to speak!

Many intelligent females do not 'show' their full intelligence. Young girls do not get rewarded socially for being smart so will often hide their intelligence.

When a woman is concerned about making others feel good, she may not show her smarts for fear of making others look bad.

I wouldn't say that I've played dumb, but I would hold myself back knowing he wouldn't understand anything that I've said. Frustrating situation.
