When I made a "break through" with my client! I work with mentally-challenged adults.
We have a new client in our home (group home) and I made "progress" with her!
I was SO excited!!!!!
She talked in a full sentence today. Up until now, she's only said a word or two!
I was VERY proud of he and it made me realize there will be many better days ahead in working with her!
I left work feeling so wonderful and knowing I touch lives and make a difference means SO much to me! This is one of the reasons I love my job!!!!!
Today's moment just made MY day!

Answering the last question on the last final for the first semester of graduate school and knowing that I at least did okay...but mostly it had to do with the realization that I have a month off for my brain to decide to forgive me and come back.

When I walked in my baby's room to find her saying a prayer all by herself on the side of her bed. About 25 minutes ago. She made my heart smile. Good night to you.

I work with dementia patients and one of my patients let me in on the secret antidote to the medicine she takes, which is rice krispies, popcorn, and sweet and low. VERY memorable!

I took my 2yo to the mall today and when her father and I were going into seperate stores, she kept looking over her shoulder yelling, " I wuv you, daddy!" at the top of her lungs....it was too precious!
