I know I have DIMM chips, but not the speed. I currently have a single 512 DIMM, but I'm not sure if it's 5300, 3200, or xxxx... Any way to find out? I tried dxdiag, but nothing.

What processor do you have? Go to My Computer > Properties.

From this, you can determine what type of RAM you need. PC2100 is 266Mhz bus, PC3200 is 333Mhz.

The bus and processor speed is also in your BIOS.
