What's the deal with all these girls on the Maury Povich show?

They do these paternity tests and most of the time it turns out the girl has slept with some other man instead of the man who thought he was the father. I thought that maybe it's just cause the show attracts losers but then I heard that the actual statistics in hospitals show that like 30some% of the babies are not of the DNA of the supposed father, but most people don't know about these numbers except hopital/health field personnel so people, not even the parents themselves, find out about this in most cases. So do these girls represent more of the truth than I had originally thought?

Unfortunately, it is sad but true! and has been for some time. I am 24 and just found out who my real father is through a dna test when I was 19. And I have a sister who will never know who her father is. It is something that was never talked about, but now is out in the open. Thanks to talk shows that make a fortune off other peoples misery, and people who are attracted to the 15 minutes of fame at whatever cost, anyone with a tv now knows things that were once deep secrets held within families. I know I watch those shows because watching someone with such problems makes me feel like I am just that much more normal than them. Just like everyone else......

No, these girls represent the bad women in this world. How would you not know who your childs father is. It is a disgrace to all the other responsiblt women in this world. Those women get on that stage and proclaim that the guy is the father and she always is 1000% sure and then what happens, HE'S NOT THE FATHER!!!! Can she be any more humiliated? And what about these children, why keep putting them through all this? If these women would only sleep with the man they are with and not every other TOM,D*CK, and HARRY, I guess Maury would be out of a job. He does have to cloth and feed Connie Chung. So rock on Maury!

I can't bare to watch Maury anymore. I work full-time, and when I do get that rare weekday off, all he has on there are paternity tests, and his played out-Donald Trump-like phrase: "YOU'RE NOT THE FATHER!" You feel bad for some of these girls, but at the same time, don't they watch the show, and ever think, "I don't ever want to go through that, and on national television!" M

I believe there's a large population of these promiscuous females, but I don't see the need for them to be on his show! Not only that, I don't know why they bother going on his show, they should know that all of the tests are going to come out NEGATIVE anyway!!!!

This is one of the effects of ignoring God's rules. He said not to sleep with anyone you're not married to and he had a reason for this. If people followed this rule there would be less unwanted pregnancies, less relationship drama, fewer kids being raised by only a mother, fewer bitter women, more responsible men, and std's would dramatically decrease. God didn't give us rules to make life hard for us, He wants our lives to be easy, and stress free.

i have to admit, i love maurys show, and i hate when i have to go to work and miss it; but its crazy when you think of how many women go on there and have to tell their mates they dont know who the father is!
