We call this game hinky pinky. If each word has two syllables, it's a hinky pinky. If they only have one syllable each, it's a hink pink. Hinkety pinketys are more difficult. The hard part is coming up with a definition. I did a hinkety pintety-hink once:
Afghanistan Banana stand. The trouble was coming up with a definition.
Okay, here's a few:
A brave fish: Daring Herring
An obese feline: Fat Cat
And here's a tough one: A tangerine colored door fastener: Orange doorhinge
Weird currency: Funny money
A cowardly black bird: Craven Raven
A highway amphibian: Road Toad
A fun variation is the x-rated version.
How about a bugle for a trollop? Strumpet trumpet.
Okay, those were off the top of my head. We've spent some great evenings out in a boat on the lake playing this game. You get points for the number of syllables and an extra 5 if you stump everybody.
